Who We Are

Founded in 1986 as the National Flight Paramedic Association, currently known as the International College of Advanced Practice Paramedics (I-CAPP), We are the largest independent paramedic association in the world.  Our focus is the professional paramedic and our purpose is to serve as advocates to the profession on an international basis.  I-CAPP members are involved in delivering ICU level care during transport of patients by airplane, helicopter and ground ambulance, as well as providing care to patients in non-traditional settings, such as within hospitals and clinics, or in the patient's home as Community Paramedics that are part of a Mobile Integrated Healthcare team.

The I-CAPP is dedicated to providing advocacy, leadership development and educational opportunities for Advanced Practice Paramedics practicing in traditional and non-traditional roles and environments. We strive to strengthen and unite critical caregivers to enhance safe, efficient, and quality patient care worldwide.
